Who processes your data
The data controller is the individual entrepreneur shown above on this page (the seller). Contact for any question about your data: wool.sakartvelo@gmail.com, +995 599 08 98 19.
What data and why
To fulfil your order the seller processes:
- your name, phone number and town or village — to contact you and confirm the order and delivery;
- your address or pick-up point — to deliver the order;
- your e-mail (optional) — to send the order confirmation;
- the order comment (optional) and the contents of the order — to fulfil it;
- technical data: your IP address and details of requests to the site are kept in the server log to protect the site from abuse and to find faults.
The data is collected only to place, confirm, pay for and deliver the order, to handle complaints and to meet the seller's legal obligations. The seller does not use the data for marketing mailings and does not sell it.
Legal grounds
The processing is necessary to conclude and perform the contract you are ordering (Article 5 of the Law on Personal Data Protection: contract, or reviewing your request). Some data is kept because the law requires it (for example an entrepreneur's accounting records). When placing an order you also tick your consent to the processing of your name and contacts to fulfil the order; you may withdraw it at any time, but then the seller cannot fulfil the order.
Is providing data mandatory
Your name, phone number, town or village and the way you want to receive the order are needed to fulfil the order: without them the seller cannot confirm or deliver it. E-mail and a comment are optional.
Who receives the data
- the carriers, Inex and Georgian Post (recipient's name, phone and address) — only to deliver your order;
- the technical contractor who maintains the site and server — as far as needed for the operation and security of the site;
- a bank or another payment intermediary that you use to pay — only as part of your payment to the seller: the site does not take payments.
Service notifications of new orders (order number and amount) arrive for the shop owner in Telegram — in a private chat or a closed group — without the buyer's name, phone or address.
The data is not passed to third parties for their own purposes, except where the law requires it.
Transfer outside Georgia
The site runs on a server of the provider DigitalOcean in Germany (Frankfurt am Main). Order data and the site log are kept there. The pages of the site may be delivered through the Cloudflare content delivery network: technical request data (the IP address) passes through it. The carriers process data in Georgia.
Retention
Order data is kept for as long as needed to fulfil the order, to handle complaints and to meet the requirements of Georgian law on accounting and taxes; the exact period follows those requirements. After that the data is deleted or anonymised. The server log is kept only for security and fault finding and is cleared periodically.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- learn what data about you is processed, why, where it came from, who receives it and how long it is kept, and receive a copy;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- require that processing stops, that data is erased or destroyed, and that data is blocked;
- withdraw consent at any time without giving a reason;
- not be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing — the seller makes no such decisions.
Write to wool.sakartvelo@gmail.com or call +995 599 08 98 19. The seller will reply within 10 working days; in cases provided by law the period can be extended by up to another 10 working days, and you will be told.
Where to complain
If you consider that your rights have been violated, you can apply to the personal data protection supervisory authority (under the current wording of the law, the State Audit Office of Georgia), to a court, or to a superior administrative body.
Data security
Only the seller and the technical contractor have access to order data. The site works over a secure connection (HTTPS), access to the service part of the site is protected by a password, and access to data is restricted.
Cookies
The site uses only technical cookies without which it does not work: the shopping cart, protection of forms against forged requests, the chosen language, a marker that you placed an order in this browser (to show its page), and the seller's sign-in to the service part. The site does not use analytics or advertising cookies or third-party trackers.
Changes to this policy
The seller may change this policy; the current version is always published on this page.
